What this website could be...
The Board of Directors of Woodfield Village has opposed the creation of an official website for the
residents, claiming there is little internet useage here, and little interest in
a site.
As a result, the Board often operates in an information vacuum due
to its inability to solicit input from the residents
on important issues. Occasionally, the Board will MAIL surveys to
residents, hoping for feedback, at great additional cost to all residents,
particularly in light of the frequency of repeat mailings due to errors, typos,
omissions, and ambiguities.
The residents should know that for a minimal investment, far
smaller than the money currently spent on these mailings, all residents could
benefit from a professionally managed site that would offer:
Public,
open to the public, areas of the site:

community information on Home Page
- Amenities
: description of the many amenities available to residents: pool, tennis...
hours, rules, etc. This will increase awareness, and value of our community.
- Homes
for Lease/Rent
: Increase your reach. Post pictures and descriptions
- Homes
for Sale
: Enhance your ability to sell by making your neighbors aware of the
availability of your unit. People are waiting in the wings… reach them.
- Classified
Ads
: Garage space, tag sale items, professional services, and a host of local
businesses (3 per category) offering their services, and discounts to
residents: Plumbers, painters, pizza delivery, pet sitting, airport
services, baby-sitting, laundry, electricians, handymen…with a section for
reviews and recommendations on their services.

: Do we hear “road repair”?, landscaping, plowing…
